November 20th - 22nd
Roughly based on the TV show, "Whose Line Is It Anyway", Cassidy Theatre is proud to present its virtual adaptation of this hit improvisational comedy show. Actors will entertain virtual audiences through a selection of improv comedy skits and musical numbers based on a variety of topics. The best parts - you don't have to leave the comfort of your home, AND audience participation is encouraged! Audiences will interact with the performance via digital streaming and will be able to contribute to the fun directly through the streaming platform! "Winging It" is the show where "everything is made up, and the points don't matter!"
Corey East is very excited to be a part of another production with Cassidy Theatre! You might have seen him here before in The 39 Steps (Clown 2). His other credits include shows such as Homos (Dan), Brighton Beach Memoirs (Stanley), and The Rocky Horror Show (Brad). He thanks his wonderful family, girlfriend Emily, and friends for their support and hopes you all enjoy watching the show!
Meg Martinez has been seen around Northeast Ohio at Blank Canvas Theatre, French Creek Theatre, Karamu House, and Lakeland Civic Theatre, among others. Favorite recent roles include Mary Poppins (Mary Poppins), The Music Man (Marian Paroo), The Rocky Horror Show (Janet Weiss), A Little Night Music (Petra), Sweeney Todd (Johanna), Evil Dead the Musical (Linda), The Drowsy Chaperone (Kitty), Doubt (Sister James), and Cymbeline (Imogen). She is also a member of the sketch comedy group Benihana Waitstaff and has performed at Pickwick and Frolic, Mahall's, and the Winchester. Louis R. Petrucci (or Lou, to most) is no stranger to Cassidy Theatre. With a BFA in Drama from New York University, Lou is part of Cassidy's office staff by day - by night, he often wears a multitude of hats: From stage-management (BIG, Bonnie & Clyde, Private Lives, 9 to 5) to props mastery (Plaid Tidings, Annie, Broadway Bound, Lend Me a Tenor, Bonnie & Clyde, The 39 Steps), assistant-directing (Damn Yankees), performing (Lend Me a Tenor, Damn Yankees, Broadway Bound, Barefoot in the Park), and finally making his directorial debut earlier this year with The 39 Steps. Lou is VERY excited to be getting back to business with the arts and theater world, and quite thrilled he's getting to stretch his improv legs again for the first time since his travels with 'Musical Mysteries & More', a Pittsburgh based company that he served as a cast member and company manager with for nearly two years. When asked about this project, Lou said: "This has to be one of the finest groups of names I've ever seen on paper - and I've read album liners for 'The Beatles.' Even better, they're all mad as hatters. This is going to be a LOT of fun."
Jen Sindyla (Stage Manager) is the resident stage manager and Youth Summer Camp director here at Cassidy. She is an active board member for Independence Community Theater where she is the Youth Summer Camp Director and has directed Once Upon a Mattress, and Godspell. In addition to Cassidy and ICT, Jen also works with The Brecksville Theatre as the Summer Camp Director and Stage Manager. Jen has been onstage performing in Nunsense (Sr. Robert Anne) at both ICT and Strongsville Community Theater. She holds a BA in theater from Baldwin-Wallace. But theater is just Jen's "hobby job," during the day she works for the Cleveland Metropolitan Schools teaching 4th grade.
