Our box office will be closed temporarily starting Tuesday March 24th.  While our theatre may be dark, may the ghost light that shines brightly on our stage bring reassurance that we too may shine brightly once again.

Stay safe and healthy and we'll see you all soon!

March 26, 2020

Valued patrons, students, parents, production teams and members of the community:

As you are all aware, over the last several weeks, the Coronavirus and its spread in the US as well as the State of Ohio has continued to create a great deal of concern amongst our community. Cassidy Theatre takes the health and safety of our patrons, students, production teams, and employees very seriously and are actively monitoring the situation in

alignment with federal, state and local authorities. Due to recent announcements and orders from the governor’s office

regarding “staying at home”, and closure of non-essential businesses, the following changes are in effect immediately:

 - Our Box Office located at 6200 Pearl Road is officially closed until further notice.

YOUTH THEATRE

 - All scheduled Youth Theatre offerings for the Summer, 2020 session have been CANCELLED. Without formal direction from our state and local agencies on when non-essential business will be able to open and when the bans on mass gatherings will be lifted, it is not in the best interest of our students, or our staff to offer classes at this time. We will resume our Youth Theatre offerings for Fall, 2020.

CASSIDY MAIN STAGE

- Our production of “BEEHIVE – The 60’s Musical” scheduled for April 10 – April 26, 2020 is currently CANCELLED.

- Our Summer Production of “Spamalot” scheduled for June has been POSTPONED to sometime in 2021 or early 2022. The date is still TBD.

- Our fall production of “Harvey” has also been POSTPONED to 2021 or 2022. The date is also still TBD.

Our Box Office is currently proactively reaching out to patrons who have purchased tickets, subscriptions or passes to

these shows to discuss refund options. Since this process will require us to reach out to each patron directly, this may

take a little time. Please be patient. We will also post details via Facebook, Instagram and our website as they become available. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this has caused. Please know that Cassidy Theatre values your patronage and appreciates your support as we continue to navigate through this unprecedented time. We look forward to the day when we can open our doors and welcome you back to our theatre. Until then, our ghost light shines brightly as a reminder of brighter days to come. Please check out our website at www.cassidytheatre.com , and follow us on Facebook and Instagram for updates.

Valued patrons, students, parents, production teams and members of the community:

As you are all aware, over the last several weeks, the Coronavirus and its spread in the US as well as the State of Ohio has created a great deal of concern amongst our community. Today, Governor Mike DeWine issued an order to postpone or cancel mass gatherings until further notice. Cassidy Theatre takes the health and safety of our patrons, students, production teams, and employees very seriously and are immediately following this order. We greatly appreciate the leadership that our federal, state and local agencies have provided to ensure transparency and awareness as well as the guidance we have received. We continue to remain engaged and are working closely with the city of Parma Heights to ensure we stay on top of new developments as they occur. The following changes are in effect immediately:

YOUTH THEATRE

All remaining youth theatre classes and workshops for the Spring, 2020 session have been CANCELLED. As stated in our policy, we are remaining aligned with the Parma City School District. The Governor’s recent closure of schools, further enforces the fact that our students and instructors are safest when they are home with their families.

Refunds for the remaining sessions will be issued to families either via Gift Card or by check. Families will receive a call from the Box Office to set up their preferred refund arrangement.

CASSIDY MAIN STAGE

Our production of “BEEHIVE – The 60’s Musical” scheduled for April 10 – April 26, 2020 is currently SUSPENDED pending additional direction from leadership at the State and Local levels. We will be working to reschedule any and all performances during this time.

For performances that are rescheduled, patrons will receive new event details from the Box Office. Since this process will require us to reach out to each patron directly, this may take a little time. Please be patient. We will also post details via Facebook, Instagram and our website as they become available.

For performances that cannot be rescheduled, patrons will be contacted regarding their preferred refund method. Refunds can be issued to the original payment method or Cassidy Theatre gift card.

We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this has caused. Please know that Cassidy Theatre values your patronage and appreciates your support as we continue to navigate through this unprecedented time.
